Inspired by and dedicated to one of (if not the) most beautiful fanfictions I've ever read, Auf Wiedersehen, Sweetheart by George deValier. I'm pretty sure the entirety of the Hetalia fandom--at least the GerIta fans--have already stumbled across it, but in case you haven't: [link]

I could not in a million years create a summary to do it justice, so here's his: "WW2 AU. Feliciano Vargas is a passionate, if slightly scared, Italian resistance member. Falling in love with a German fighter pilot was the last thing he expected... and it will test his national loyalty, and his heart, to their limits."
